Broad Oak Manor Nursing Home is set in a Queen Anne Grade II listed Manor House with beautiful grounds and a walled garden. It is complimented by the grade II listed barn conversion providing a unique space which can be enjoyed with family and friends.
The home has 23 private bedrooms, several reception areas and a dining room. All of the rooms are well equipped with nurse-call systems, telephones and televisions. Adaptive equipment including profiling beds are each room which are tastefully furnished and decorated and can be adapted to suit the preferences of the individual.
The extensive well-tended grounds can be enjoyed by residents, family and friends. A sensory garden has been created in the shape of a sun dial forming a central focus for the garden and providing both visual and sensory pleasure. All areas of the home and the garden are easily accessible to everyone including wheelchairs. The upper floors of the manor are serviced by a lift.
Catering
Our menu is prepared by our catering team who create dishes using fresh produce with flair and flavour. Meals can be served either in the dining room or in your own room and a wide range of options are available catering for individual preferences.
Where special diets are required, the catering team work according to guidance from the Nursing staff and or the dietician or speech and language therapist.
Special events can be catered for and hosted in the barn on arrangement with the team.
Everyday living assistance
Hairdressers
A local hairdresser regularly visits Broad Oak Manor and other beauty therapies can also be provided.
Laundry
In addition to providing all linen and towels, the staff at Broad Oak Manor will collect, wash, dry and iron all personal laundry apart from handwashing.
Maintenance
We can help you to make adjustments to your room to help you feel more at home, for example, hanging pictures or moving furniture.
Telephone
all bedrooms are equipped with telephones and you will have your own personal telephone number from which to make and receive calls.
Special aids
Staff at Broad Oak Manor can provide you with advice regarding specialist equipment, such as zimmer frames, raised toilet seats and wheelchairs, as well as arranging for these to be provided to you.

The Barn Coffee Lounge
Adjacent to the Manor House is our Grade II listed Barn conversion. A truly beautiful space to relax with family and friends over coffee and cake or to enjoy the many social events and activities which are organised throughout the year.
Broad Oak Manor Gardens
