On arrival the first thing that struck me was what an idyllic spot. So lush and green. The grand manor house has the most wonderful landscaped walled garden. There’s a fabulous oak beamed barn where the residents enjoy daily activities with the whole site surrounded by majestic mature trees which gives you a sense of privacy and security. It’s also a family run business too and you can tell they and the staff really care for their residents. Since my mother arrived at Broad Oak (almost 3 years ago) she has been given a new lease of life. Everyone here is friendly, patient and caring. She had dementia but always said she felt safe and comfortable. The carers are kind and hard working and looked after my mum so well - always making her laugh. The environment is beautiful and peaceful and there are so many activities to get involved in if you want to.
